Yes. Telepsychiatry is available for adolescent patients. For teens under 18, a parent or guardian will need to provide consent. The session itself can include or exclude the parent based on what is most comfortable and clinically appropriate.
Some medications require periodic blood tests to monitor safety. If lab work is needed, Dr. Worthington will refer you to a local lab in your area. She reviews the results and follows up with you through your next telepsychiatry appointment.
